Upon completion of the registration form, you can modify your profile once signed in by clicking on the “My Profile” link on the side bar. You can purchase credits by clicking on the link on the side bar as well, at which point you will be redirected to Paypal’s site.

If you are an Architect or a Designer, click on register now on the home page and fill out the requisite form. Once you register, you can view all of our galleries, but cannot download any content until you purchase credits. In order to modify your profile and/or purchase credits, please follow the same steps as the manufacturer above.

What file formats can I download?

Archipedia offers users the following formats: SKP, DWG, DXF, 3DS, OBJ, STL, 3DM, and any other format they may request by visiting the contact page. In the body of your message, please include the manufacturer and the product reference along with the format you require. We will then either post the additional file, or send you a CD with the file. Your account in either situation will be debited one download.

How do I upload a 3D model?

Manufacturers wishing to upload a 3D model need to sign in with their username and password. If you don’t have any credits, you will have to purchase credits at this point. If you have credits, you will need to click on “Add an Object” on the side bar. You will need to select a category, then a sub-category. In the “Title” field, please include the exact Product reference as in your catalogue. Kindly avoid special characters and accents.

In the “Description” field, please include information concerning the product you are uploading, followed by dimensions, available finishes, fabrication notes, i.e., handmade, chased, electroplated, tolerances, etc…Kindly note that it is important to mention dimensions, as not every CAD or 3D program scales the same, and importing the file into one program or another may result in false scale. This will give the architect/designer an indication so that they can properly scale the item in their respective workflow.

Please select an image of your product which best exemplifies it.

Click “Submit”.

Next you will be asked to select a file to upload. Click on “Browse” and find the file you wish to upload. You will also be asked to select a file extension for each and the click “Submit”. You will be asked to repeat this for each file type. Kindly note that heavier files will take longer to upload. It is recommended to simplify your models and remove textures to prevent unusually large files. You can modify, view or delete your files by clicking on “My Objects”.

How do I upload a sketch I wish to have transformed into a 3D object?

Simply click on “Upload Sketch” and follow the instructions.

Kindly note that all sketches will be quoted and emailed back to you. Upon payment confirmation via Paypal, we will produce your model and an email confirmation will be sent to you once it is ready to be downloaded.

How do I upgrade my membership?

Click on “Upgrade Account” once signed in and select one of the options, at which point you will be reverted to Paypal for payment.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Any user wishing to terminate his membership is asked to send an email to: cancellations@archi-pedia.com.
